The heritage property was constructed in the year 1920 as a Residential Palace for Sir Robert Bristow. It was called at that time as Bristow Bungalow. Sir Robert Bristow, who was the chief architect of modern Cochin, and belonged to the Royal Society of Arts, stayed in here between 1920 A.D. and 1941 A.D. He has certainly left his mark in this property which can be seen in every corner of the heritage hotel in Kerala.

There are 7 Garden View Rooms, 2 Bristow Suites, divided into Sir Robert’s Suite and Lady Gertrude’s Suite and 2 Villas namely The Lighthouse Villa and The Gulmohar Villa.
