During the 18th century, the condition of Mewar kingdom deteriorated when it was attacked by Bajirao Peshwa. Observing the same, Col. James Tod asked Maharana Bhimsingh Ji to send an invitation to Seth Jorawarmal Ji Bapna, the then prime minister of Holker state Indore, to come here and take care of the management of Mewar state.
Seth Jorawarmal ji Bapna accepted the invite and came to Mewar state to take care of it. In admiration of Seth Jorawarmal Bapna, this historical heritage haveli was offered to him as his residence. From that time, it is known as SETH JI RI HAVELI. The haveli is around 250 years old and is known for its stunning exteriors as well as interiors.

Shree Jagadish Mahal, a heritage hotel in Udaipur, has 9 well-furnished and well-equipped suites.
