History of Chapslee Shimla
Formerly the summer residence of the late Hon'ble Raja Charanjit Singh of Kapurthala, Chapslee today functions as an exclusive Heritage Hotel in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Situated next to the Auckland House Senior School, Chapslee Hotel in Shimla was originally built in 1835, and acquired by Lord Auckland, then Governor General of the East India Company.
The hotel was opened to visitors in 1976, and since then, Chapslee has continued to enamor guests with its old world charm and world-class services.
