The Mandav Gadh fort covers 5,000-sq-yards, and can be entered by any of the 3 arch gates, large enough for elephants, leading to 3 separate courtyards.

Mandav Gadh is 12 kms from the Piyava check-post of Gir national park & wildlife sanctuary, which has a considerable population of the last Asiatic lions in the world, along with panther, deer, antelopes, peafowl and extensive birdlife,.
